The BPBCC hosted its first annual convention and expo January 26-28 , 2011 at Bethel’s Place Empowerment Center, 12660 Sandpiper, Houston, Texas 77035.  The three-day event kicked off with a prayer breakfast on Thursday, January 26, featuring keynote speaker, Pastor Walter August, Jr., senior pastor of the Church at Bethel’s Family including various invited churches, community officials and area business leaders.

The information-packed convention/expo also  featured uplifting entertainment, mini-business workshops, announcement of 1st Annual B-Excellent Awards winners, small business tradeshow and networking opportunities. The cost to participate as an exhibitor is provided below:

Non-Chamber Member Booth Rental

  • Early Bird booth rental fee – $325 (through 10/10/11)
  • Regular booth Rental – $375 (10/11/11-12/31/11).
  • Late rental – $425 (Jan. 1-6)

Chamber Member Booth Rental

  • Early Bird – $300 (by 10/10/11)
  • Regular Fee – $350 (10/11/11-12/31/11)
  • Late Fee – $400 (Jan.1-6)

The annual cost for chamber membership is $200.
